Meyler Campbell Digest: July 2021

The monthly Meyler Campbell Digest will keep you up to date on all things Meyler Campbell and will provide you with a range of some of the best content we have found in the past month.

Each month we share the latest from Meyler Campbell. This month we are delighted to welcome as guest editor William Alexander, who joined Meyler Campbell from Spencer Stuart and is now one of our Executive Directors.  William shares his early observations on Meyler Campbell, and some resources on leadership inspired by this month’s feast of sport in the UK and around the world.

Introducing William
William graduated from the Meyler Campbell Mastered Programme three years ago, and is a passionate believer in coaching. Before joining us, William helped build and lead a tech start-up during the first dot.com boom, then was at Spencer Stuart for almost 17 years, 8 of which as the global practice leader for ‘TMT’ (Technology Media and Telecom). He lives in Hammersmith and can often be spotted running or walking along the river on his own or with any combination of his wife, three daughters and their dog, Scooby the whippet.

He writes:

Meyler Campbell changed my life
Meyler Campbell changed my life.  That is what has happened to me following my first meeting about the Mastered programme with Catherine Devitt and Daniel Burke in 2017. Since I joined the team in March this year, it astonishes me how often those same five words - Meyler Campbell changed my life - are uttered by others whenever I ask members of our community about their experience.

The voice of the community
Many of you have generously given me time to share your thoughts about Meyler Campbell - thank you.  I want to use this opportunity to share with the wider community the themes that have resonated with me from those early conversations.
