Alice has gained a wealth of experience at the top of a range of high-profile companies and institutions - including as Chair of the newly independent Post Office, and as a non-executive director of BAA, Taylor Nelson Sofres, Oxford University and now the BBC. She has also worked as a coach with a variety of CEOs, mainly in the private sector. In her different roles, she draws on the experience she gained in her executive career in the Civil Service and in particular, her roles in the Treasury, and as the Group HR Director of the Civil Service in the Cabinet Office from 2001-2005.
Alice is motivated by the opportunity to make a genuine contribution to the effectiveness of people and organisations she values and respects. At its best, she knows that coaching can help highly talented people to face and answer questions which had not previously occurred to them, as well as giving them a safe space in which to explore the issues which keep them awake at night.
