William has dedicated the last 16 years to helping leaders through important phases in their career. He believes passionately in the power of coaching skills to enable leaders and leadership teams to navigate closer to their full potential. As Executive Director and co-owner of Meyler Campbell, he focuses on linking our programmes with more people around the world, helping leaders be more productive, more fulfilled and more humane in the way they operate. Always driven by connecting people and ideas, he likes nothing better than exploration with friends in the mountains or in discussions around a table as well as while walking with a coaching client. William graduated from the Meyler Campbell Mastered programme himself in 2019.
A Partner of Spencer Stuart, the global leadership advisory firm, William worked on critical leadership transitions and served for eigth years as Spencer Stuart’s global practice leader of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Practice. He was also Chair of Spencer Stuart’s own board nominating committee. He continues as a Senior Advisor to Spencer Stuart.
Earlier in his career, William helped establish and lead MetaPack, a private equity-backed software company, from start-up to sustainable profitability. MetaPack achieved an exit at a value of $220m. Before that, he was IBM's worldwide manager for retail supply chain solutions and the finance and development director at Broadsystem, the interactive media division of News Corp. William started his career as a strategy consultant with Bain & Company after studying politics, philosophy and economics at Oriel College, Oxford. He has an M.B.A. from INSEAD.
